It's been a dense period of three years, for my articles on BlowUp magazine.
I investigated "Sgt. Pepper's" on its 50th anniversary and devised a thorough essay on the ABBA phenomenon and their beginnings. Then one essay focused on Slavoj Zizek's concept of "parallactic gap" as investigating tool for today's news, and a two-part essay 'told it all' on the debate about Technique and philospher Jacques Ellul.
Lastly four strictly music-articles have completed this cycle of 33 issues of Blow Up. Two of them clash against the usual agiography, and are centered on Cohen and Zappa. Two describe two genres 'off the beaten path' (and un-typical of music mags like BlowUp) which are Napolitan Neo-Melodic pop music and Italian Trap/Drill.
