This long interview was recorded in September 1979 at Wyatt's home in Twickenham, in preparation of my book on progressive rock-music, published the following year (on its cover Robert Wyatt singing at the famous Piazza Navona concert, in Rome). His memories of the last dozen of incredible years spent between London, Paris (and playing as support-band for the Jimi Hendrix Experience in the US) were still very vivid.
